Alpha Xi Delta is....

This time last year I had just started my freshman year at a new place where I didn't know anyone, just the few people from my high-school.  Now I'm sitting here a year later and I have the absolute best friends. Coming from a place that is two hours away, I needed friends and family and I got both. Thanks to Alpha Xi Delta I have found my home here and I would not change a thing. Going through recruitment, I have amaXIng friends and have learned to realize my potential. I have asked a few sisters what Alpha Xi Delta means to them and what makes Alpha Xi Delta special so here are some of those stories.

Alpha Xi Delta means courage and strength.

Sometimes that meant taking me to school so I didn’t miss an exam when my keys were locked in my car; other times it meant just helping support other organizations in which I am involved.  Alpha Xi Deltas are inspiring. As we close on this inspirational series, I wanted to remind everyone that now we are all ACES at Realizing Our Potentials!

Attitude goes a long way in helping someone reach out for his/her dream. A good attitude can lead one to break barriers.                        

 

Commitment and determination are also key factors in reaching your dreams. Without them your good dreams can remain undiscovered even though you have the potential.

 

Excellence and faithfulness to your schedules are important in achieving your dreams. It determines how quickly you reach your goal.

 

Support above everything else is important. No one can do it alone.

Outside support is also very essential in the quest to achieve your dream. When your dreams seem far and hard to reach, let a sister be the extra push you need. Every dream is attainable. Sometimes it takes more than one person to get you there.

 

While your dreams are in your hands, it's okay to have someone help you hold it.

Realize Your Potential: Excellence and Faithfulness

Another factor that makes the difference between a successful dream and a failed one is excellence. You need to excel or do your best in every step you take to achieve your dream. Live as if everyday was the last day of your life. If you are blinding reaching for dream, you will almost certainly never reach it. Plan a schedule for you to reach your goals and stick to it.

Realize Your Potential: Commitment and Determination

One of the factors that determine how far you will go in reaching success in life is the commitment and determination within you. If you have set the goals you want to achieve, then you need to back them up with sheer persistence and determination. Never give up on the dreams you believe in.

Realize Your Potential: Attitude

Firstly, you need to have a positive attitude and believe in yourself if you want to achieve a goal.

Believe in yourself that you can also reach the heights and break the records that people, even sisters, have set before you. Even planes first run before taking off and everyone else big began small. People with negative attitudes often give up after the first few attempts and end up not reaching their desired goals.

 

With the right attitude, you can do anything.

Powerful words of encouragement are needed to keep us going in our daily life. Without them few people can actually achieve their dreams. A lot of people who paid attention to motivational quotes and applied them in their lives have become a success.
